Human-Readable
Ordinal Identity

Your identity is your address, your authentication, your device anchor, and your data vault key — all in one permanent, human-readable format. It is never reissued. It is never taken away.

✦ Identity Format Generator
Your Identity Format

One Identity. Five Simultaneous Roles.

Under SPEC-01, your FIRST.LAST.N@DOMAIN identity does not just identify you — it serves five distinct functions at the same time, on user-owned hardware, without continuous cloud dependency.

✉️
Communication Address
Messages route to you directly. No separate email account needed.
🔑
Authentication ID
You log in with your identity. No username/password pair required.
🖥️
Device Anchor
Devices bind to your identity. Each gets a unique per-device secure state.
🔒
Data Vault Key
Your personal vault is controlled by your identity. Nothing enters or exits without it.
Recovery Anchor
Identity recovery works without internet. Without a recovery service. Without shared custody.

The Rules of the Registry

🔢
Sequential ordinal assignment. The number following your name is assigned in order. BRET.FENCL.1 was the first BRET FENCL registered in the namespace. BRET.FENCL.2 would be the second. The number is your permanent position in history.
♾️
Never reissued. Once BRET.FENCL.1 is assigned, it belongs to that person forever. It cannot be reassigned to a different individual — not on inactivity, not on death, not ever. The registry only grows.
🛡️
Per-device secure states. Each device associated with an identity gets a unique secure state derived from the identity and the device's hardware characteristics. If a device is transferred, the prior secure state is invalidated and a new one is generated for the new owner.
📖
Historical record, not mutable account. Existing systems delete or reuse identifiers. This system treats every identity as a permanent historical record. The registry is append-only.
📴
Non-centralized recovery. Losing access to your identity can be recovered on user-owned hardware without calling a support line, without an internet connection, and without giving recovery custody to any third party.

Real-World Examples

BRET.FENCL.1@YOURIQ.AI
Inventor. First BRET FENCL in the YourIQ.AI namespace.
JANE.SMITH.1@YOURIQ.AI
First Jane Smith registered.
JANE.SMITH.2@YOURIQ.AI
Second Jane Smith registered — different person, same name, unique ordinal.
MICHAEL.JOHNSON.47@YOURIQ.AI
47th Michael Johnson registered. Uniquely his, forever.
AI.AGENT.1@YOURIQ.AI
AI agents get identity too. Same format. Same permanence.
