How does the referral link work?

Every affiliate's referral link is keyed to their real email address. Example: https://onecharactercode.com/activate.html?ref=BRET.FENCL.1@YOURIQ.AI. The activation page captures the ?ref= value, validates it as an email, and stores it as your lifetime referrer.

Why emails instead of short codes like BART001 or SON001?

Email is a real identity. Short codes are easy to lose, easy to fake, and impossible to verify against a real person. Email-based IDs allow permanent tracking, payout verification, real community building, and let buyers see who shared the offer with them.

How do payouts work?

Each activation under your link credits you the commission rate stored on your affiliate record. Standard users earn $1. Friends, family, and employees earn $2. The original referrer still earns a $1 chain bonus if a different affiliate later closes the sale, so early referrers do not lose credit when the network grows.

What is the chain bonus?

If you refer someone, and they later go on to be re-referred through a different affiliate and that other affiliate closes the sale, you still get a $1 chain bonus on top of the closer's commission. The original relationship is permanent.

Is my email shown publicly?

By default, no. Public display masks your email as b***@example.com. Your full email is only stored internally for tracking and payout. You can opt in to a full public display by checking that box when you register.

How long does referral tracking last?

Permanently, unless an admin manually removes the affiliate record. The system is designed for lifetime continuity.

Why does this help build real community?

Because every referral connects to a real human. You know who invited you. The person who shared an app with you gets credit for that share, every time. It is relationship-driven growth, not spam-driven.

Can I track my referrals?

Yes. Use the affiliate dashboard to view your total referrals, chain bonuses, total earned, pending payout, and recent activations.

On the Activate page, register as an affiliate with your email. Your share link is https://onecharactercode.com/activate.html?ref=.

What if I have problems with my account?
